1. Who we are

2. What Sibila is, and what it is not

Sibila offers online tarot readings for reflection and entertainment.

Readings are not predictions of the future. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice and do not replace a qualified professional. Any decision you make after a reading is your own.

3. Age requirement

Sibila is for people aged 18 or older. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

4. Free reading for guests

Without an account, you can get 1 free reading per day.

To apply this daily limit, we use a signed first-party cookie and a keyed hash of your IP address. We do not store your raw IP address. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your account

To create an account you need an email address and a password. Your password is stored only as a scrypt hash, never in plain text.

When you sign in, we keep you signed in with an httpOnly session cookie that lasts 30 days.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.

6. Credits

Credits are internal units used to pay for features inside Sibila. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred to other people or accounts.

New accounts receive a signup bonus of 30 credits. The bonus is given only once per email address. To enforce this, we keep a keyed hash of the email address, even after the account is deleted.

Credits bought in packs do not expire.

Current costs: a reading costs 10 or 15 credits, a yes/no reading costs 5 credits, and follow-up questions cost 2, 4 or 8 credits.

If an AI interpretation or a follow-up fails, the credits used for it are automatically returned to your balance.

7. Prices and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. In Brazil, you can also pay with Pix. We never see or store your full card data.

Prices are shown according to your market: in Brazil, in BRL with taxes included; in the United States, in USD with tax added at checkout; in Spain and the European Union, in EUR with VAT included.

8. Plus subscription

The Plus subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you choose, until you cancel it.

You can cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, available on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

9. AI-generated interpretations

When AI interpretations are enabled, the question, the cards and any previous follow-ups of that reading are sent to Anthropic (Claude API) to generate a personalized text.

You give your consent to this at signup and can turn it off at any time in your account settings. With it turned off, you will see only the classic interpretation. Guests are shown a notice about this processing.

We do not use your readings to train models. AI-generated text may contain errors and, like any reading, is for reflection and entertainment only.

10. Refunds and withdrawal

Your rights to withdraw from a purchase and to request refunds depend on your market and are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms do not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.
